Winter Wonderland

As truly tender as a Tennessee Christmas is, there really is never any snow! And is it just me or is there less and less snow every winter?! We had some FANTASTIC snow days when I was a kid. Fantastic mostly because my dad was a master craftsman when it came to building things out of snow. We had the best igloos and fortresses, one of them was even connected to a giant snowman! Or at least it seemed giant to little me at the time. We had neighbors with a huge hill that was perfect for lots of sledding and mom often had hot chocolate ready to warm us up when we came in from spending hours in the snow. I'm excited to experience snow days again in a whole new way with our boy! Here's hoping we actually have some.
