Trust in Jesus-Third Day

There's so much mainstream Christian music that makes me cringe and quickly change the station when it comes on the radio, but there's also some popular Christian bands who make me reach for the volume button, turn it up louder than is probably good for my ears, and turn an otherwise ordinary moment into a powerful one of worship. This song falls into that second category. 

One day, when we see God face to face, maybe He will ask why we are worthy of an eternity with Him. The only answer, the only hope we have, is to claim the work of Christ on the cross. I trust in Jesus, not in myself, not in my works, but in the pouring out of His life on the cross. Nothing I have ever done or will do earns me a spot in heaven, only by clinging to Him will my eternity be secured.
