How would you fill in the blank below? What do you see our culture obsessing over that Jesus paid little or not attention to? Appearance? Celebrities? Sex? Vacations? Power? Position? The perfect home? Fitness? TV? Food? I'm definitely not saying that these things are bad, but how much of our time and our heart are we giving to them? Anything can quickly become an idol, even good things.

It's up to us to choose between what the world tells us is important and what Jesus told us would give us life. I want to be obsessed with the things that Jesus cared about and most of those things are the opposite of what our world cares about.
