"Don't own this prayer just because you memorized it". Ouch. I feel the sting of that truth.

I feel like each Monday Mom Memo is more convicting than the last. I copied this from a picture my mom sent me of the same script handwritten in her journal. It's from a pastor that we have listened to on the radio for as many years as I can remember and it rocked me to my core.

Having been raised in the church AND in private Christian school, I don't even known when I first memorized the Lord's Prayer. I must've been very young. I can tell you, however, that I will never recite it in the same way again.
