3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Bars
Pregnancy makes me HUNGRY. And while I've definitely indulged more that usual in snacking, I also try to make those snacks things that aren't terrible for me! I can't afford to buy a whole new wardrobe after baby, so I'm eventually gonna have to fit into all my clothes again!
That's where these peanut butter bars come in. Matthew considers a spoonful of peanut butter to be a great snack, but I just can't. I need something a little more solid! I found this recipe on Pinterest and really enjoy it. Next time I whip it up, I may add some chocolate, because after baby, I'm gonna have to re-instill my self-control, but right now, bring on the chocolate!
- 3 cups Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Honey
- Line a 9x9 pan with foil or parchment paper.
- Use microwave to melt the peanut butter and honey together. Stir well.
- Combine with 2 cups of the oats then as it mixes, slowly add the last cup until it is all completely combined.
- Pour into the prepared pan and place in the fridge until solid. You can then cut them into squares. I store mine in the fridge to make them less sticky, but they can be stored in a pantry too.
